Dog Training & Obedience Pricing.

Offering dog training, retriever training and obedience training through private lessons & group lessons near San Antonio, Texas. We also offer boarding and training for gun dogs & wild game tracking.

• Pricing is given on a case by case basis depending on the needs of your dog so please contact us for a quote.
• RAVE Retrievers offers one free introductory dog training and obedience lesson and consultation.
• A signed contract will be required upon enrollment.
• If you're supplying the food/meds then the food, heartguard and a quality flea preventative must be provided at that time. An additional $100 will be charged if RAVE Retrievers has to provide them.
• RAVE Retrievers taking your dog on a veterinarian visit will incur a $50 dollar travel fee and does not pay for any of the services your vet may require as our time is to provide training.

• Discounts for First Responder, Law Enforcement Military and Fire Department.
• Sorry, but there will be no refunds given for services rendered.

Rave Retriever Yearly Club Membership

• $2,500/yr ~ amount due in full

Private Lessons

• $250/hr for individual
• $550/hr for group of 8

Basic Boarding

• $35 per day for yearly
• $45 per day for non-yearly

*Boarding & training includes group classes, but not private lessons.

Puppy Head Start
This program is similar the "Basic Gun Dog" course but with a focus on confidence, which is the building block for a great retriever. This program also offers a few extra added perks for being a puppy plus by starting training early it will make life more enjoyable for your dog and yourself.

• Boarding & training starting at $875 for the month. After the dog turns 6 months old the price increases to $975 & up depending on the dog. After 1 year the price increases to $1,000/mo.

Basic Gun Dog Training
This program is designed to expose an inexperienced or young retriever to as many scenarios as they may experience during the hunting season. The "basic" program will focus on: obedience, introducing simulated hunting conditions with birds, guns, decoys, and boats.

• Program Length: 3-4 months 
• Boarding & training starting at $950 depending on age & assessment.

Intermediate Gun Dog Training
The intermediate program is designed to produce a retriever companion that can handle the majority of situations that may arise during a normal hunting season. This program will introduce complex marking and basic blind handling, Force-To-Pile, the "T" Drill, swim-by and marking multiple birds down with diversion to both the dog and handler/owner.

• Program Length: 3-4 months
• Boarding & training $850 to $950 depending on age & assessment

Advanced Gun Dog Training
This program is intended for those who desire a hunting companion that can tackle any obstacle in the field and are willing to dedicate their own time and energy to completing the program.

• Program Length: 4-6 months
• Boarding & training $850 to $950 depending on age & assessment

Tune-Ups
In order to stay a sharp and proficient retriever/handler, you and your dog need practice. Tune-ups are designed for the retriever-handler team who has previous experience in the field, but needs a refresher in training and obedience work to prepare for the upcoming hunting season.
