Gun Dog Training

Basic Gun Dog Training
	This 3-4 month dog training and obedience program designed to expose an inexperienced or young retriever to as many scenarios as he or she may experience during the hunting season. This program will introduce the dog to simulated hunting conditions, guns, decoys, dokkens, boats and different types of birds (dead & alive).

Intermediate Gun Dog Training
	This 3-4 month dog training and obedience program is designed to produce a retriever companion that is very capable of handling at least 85% of the hunting situations that arise during a normal hunting season. This program includes the basic program and will introduce multiple marking and basic blind handling situations. New concepts will be introduced at this level including Force-To-Pile, The "T" Drill, Swimby and marking multiple birds down with diversion. At the completion of this dog training and obedience level, your dog and you should be ready to participate in the UKC Seasoned Hunt Test and the AKC Senior Test.

Advanced Gun Dog Training
This 4-6 month dog training and obedience program is intended for those who desire a hunting companion that can tackle any obstacle in hunting as well as the UKC Finished Test and the AKC Master Test. These dogs are finely tuned in all handling situations and marking. They are exposed to every conceivable situation and concept at this level. This program includes the intermediate level. Dogs who complete the advanced level of dog training and obedience are the pride of their family and the envy of every person you meet. They are also the envy of anyone with whom you go hunting.
